I'm writing this while sitting in on a faculty union meeting. These sessions are always chaotic and the only way I get through them without screaming is by multi-tasking. Thank goodness I can vent with my library colleagues on internal chat. It feels like we're in this together. Here's what made me smile this week.

Now that I've used AirPods for years, I can't imagine going back to wired earbuds. The lack of strings flapping around makes walking and working out so much easier. I love how much more mobile I feel. Here's what else made me happy this week:
I will never get tired of living close to our public library. It is literally a block away. I can run over and grab books whenever I want. I look forward to the day our kiddo can make her first solo journey there. Here's what else is making me smile:
Today is our last full day in Florida for our kiddo's spring break. She's had a great time and I know she's going to miss the pool. I'm sad that we're leaving tomorrow but I know how easy it will be to come back in the future. Here's what made me happy this week:

Here's what made me happy this week:
Despite being tired and not in the mood, I pushed through and completed a workout this morning. I bribed myself with new episodes of the Serial podcast. It ended up being a great way to start the morning. Here's what else made me happy:
After almost two weeks of zero overnight wake-ups from the kiddo, the streak ended today. But, I'm grateful that this wake up came at 6AM and not two or three in the morning. Still not good, but not the worst. Hopefully, we can start a new streak of full nights of sleep tonight. Here's what else I am grateful for:
It's almost cherry blossom time! I don't know if we'll make to the Tidal Basin this year, but the smattering of trees in our neighborhood are starting to pop. It's lovely. Here's what else made me smile:
I came to the office today not because of work but, rather, because we treated ourselves to a professional house cleaning. Friday, I normally work from home but I am more than happy to give that up if it means I get to return to a beautifully clean space. Here's what else made me happy this week:
