Just Good Things: March 8, 2024

I came to the office today not because of work but, rather, because we treated ourselves to a professional house cleaning. Friday, I normally work from home but I am more than happy to give that up if it means I get to return to a beautifully clean space. 

Here's what else made me happy this week:

• Submitted this year's faculty portfolio - a day early!
• Braided pretzel twists
• We got a preview of nice spring weather
• Husband took some cute pictures of our kiddo sharing her umbrella with her friends
• Started a new workout platform and it's been going well
• Squeezed in a walk at lunch when the sun was out
• Got around to scheduling dinner with my bestie
• Booked myself a three night hotel getaway for my birthday (Cause there was a deal - book two nights and get the third free!)
• Using cocktail umbrellas for some social media stuff at work
• The Washington Capitals are on a winning streak
