Just Good Things: April 5, 2024

I don't like going to the dentist. It always feels like a hassle. The kiddo, on the other hand, gets excited about it. At her pediatric dentist, they have TVs in the ceilings AND she gets a toy at the end. If I was rewarded like that, I might not mind going to the dentist as much either.

Here's what made me happy this week:

• Our eclipse glasses arrived in time for the big event
• Garlic bread
• Our D&D session ended with our cast of characters in an interesting place
• Kiddo laughing at my description of how to draw an "R" - Line down, half a humpty, and give it a leg!
• Finally got my hands on a coffee table book I want to read
• A quiet morning on the reference desk when I needed it
• Tackled more on my to-do list than planned
• Editor enjoyed the first draft of my article
• Taking pictures of pretty neighborhood flowers
