Short intro this week because yesterday was a travel day. Kiddo and I flew, just the two of us, to Florida to visit my parents for her spring break.

The hardest part of the trip was the baggage. I was determined not to check anything. Thankfully, my parents have most of the kiddo's bigger items so I did not have to worry about those. I still ended up wheeling a small suitcase, diaper bag, kiddo's backpack, and my laptop bag through the airport. It was a lot but we managed.

I probably could have packed way less. Kiddo is just going to live in the pool while we're here.

  • Fantastic library content! [@cedarspringslibrary]
  • We randomly tossed on Scoop which is about Prince Andrew's disastrous BBC interview. The film had a stacked cast and was a cool behind the scenes look at how the interview happened. It also showed the importance of what you have as the context for your actions. Prince Andrew was clearly missing a lot of things. [Netflix]

  • It's been ages since I made a baked pasta dish. This week, I whipped up baked ravioli with chicken sausage. It's a breeze to make and really tasty. I used a store brand basil pesto chicken sausage. I really liked it (added a touch of herby freshness) but the Husband thought the flavor competed a bit with the cheese ravioli. • After overdoing it a few years ago, we've put salmon back in our dinner rotation. This week, we went with honey-soy glazed salmon with spinach and peppers. If you want a lighter meal, this is perfect. Lots of flavor but nothing feels heavy. [Real Simple via My Evernote]
