What I thought was allergies now seems to be non-Covid daycare crud that our kiddo brought home. In the last 24 hours, I have gone through more tissues than I care to think about. Luckily, I was able to convert today to a work from home day. I love having that flexibility.

Here's what I'm working on in-between blowing my nose:
  1. Faculty Research Assignment Design: After a brief break, we are back at our qualitative data coding. These are the clean-up passes. We are trying to finish them all before a member of our research team goes on a long (and well-deserved) summer vacation. Related to this, I drafted a proposal to speak at our library consortium's annual conference.
  2. ACRL Conference Follow-Up: I've been meeting with vendors, colleagues, and generally following-up/doing things that came out of this conference. Some point soon, I am going to start watching recordings of sessions I could not attend live.
  3. Annual Family Meeting: The husband and I sat down for our annual family meeting this past weekend. This is where we decided our priorities for the year, reviewed our finances, discussed home/life maintenance things, and just had a general check-in on all manner of things. Now I'm in the process of calendaring items and putting projects on various to do lists.
