The Now: April 3, 2024

It has been raining for days. I miss the sun. This gray weather better clear out before the eclipse. I know DC is not in the path of totality, but I want to see something.

Here's what I've been up to:

1. Research Assignment Design: We went through some of our revisions today and discussed them as a team. We have a few more items left to tweak and then it's off to the editors! It's going to be exciting when this piece is finally published. I also developed slides for an online presentation we're giving to a faculty-facing audience later this month. One of the things we want to do with our work is break out of the librarian audience silo and speak to more instructors.
2. Content Prompt: I want to hear from my readers, so I sent out a survey. A little over 5% of my subscribers have completed it so far. Not to shabby - considering I offered no incentives. I'm learning some good stuff. I also used it as a testing ground for some plans I have in mind. This has been a gut check for what will and will not work. 
3. Calendering: The husband and I are working on scheduling a vacation and some other things. We're trying to figure out how to fit various events around other travel, work, and the upcoming school calendar.
