I honestly don't know where I would be without Trello and my bullet journal. These have been the only things helping me keep my work on the rails the past few weeks.

Here's where my attention is at this week.

WORK
  • I wrote out an extensive outline for my presentation at the upcoming CALM conference. I'm talking about bad management and how to improve it. I submitted my list of resources last week.
  • We held the last webinar in our spring series focusing on the ACRL Framework. While I wish we had more attendees at each session, the engagement was much higher than in the past.
  • I sent this month's subscription newsletter. Our finals start soon, so the lead story shared tips for getting through this stressful time.
  • I finally have time to get back to our website redevelopment. I spent time converting some of our LibGuides to the new template. Fingers crossed I finish this in early May. I would love to revamp the last pages by the end of the semester.
  • We are dealing with some tense user issues in our library. The reference team is looking at developing approaches and policies to more systematically handle these circumstances when they arise. We want to be fair and empathetic, but we also want to balance the needs of all our users and the emotional load of our staff.
  • I completed my reviews for a catalyst fund. It's always fun to see the proposals that come in. So many great projects!

PERSONAL
  • Prepping for my days off and my night away from parenting. It's going to be a mix of productivity and utter laziness.
  • I wrote out ideas for my new Tuesday Tips blog series. I'm excited about this one.
  • I put together the April newsletter for our condo's green committee. This month, I focused on restroom water saving tips.
  • I'm trying to knock stuff off my needle list. This week, I fixed a necklace, found a new home for our clothes drying racks, and sold our kiddo's play yard.
  • I'm slowly making headway in my personal photo management. I got everything off my phone and onto my computer. Then, I sorted everything in to folders. Now, I need to review what to keep and rename the files. (Eventually I'll get around to moving everything on my computer to the new file naming system, but that is going to take months of work.)
