Just Good Things: October 27, 2023

My brother is coming in to town tomorrow. It will be the first time I've seen him since Christmas. I'm very excited about it. I think the kiddo is even more excited. She seems to prefer her uncle over everyone else.

Here's what else made me happy this week:

• I submitted the final draft of my book chapter
• Kiddo's love of the annual "pumpkin bath" 
• I slept in until almost 10am one day
• Kiddo throwing both hands in the air and running, full-speed, towards a Boo at the Zoo candy tent screaming "Hallooooooweeeeeen!"
• Peanut M&Ms
• Mini pumpkins with interesting stems
• Trying new recipes
• Group texting with my friends
• Sharing relevant GIFs in the work chat
