Just Good Things: October 20, 2023

Kiddo's daycare is closed today for parent-teacher conferences. I took the day off  to handle that BUT our daycare managed to schedule an almost full day art camp at a local studio. Instead of going to the office, I kept my day off to run errands and  tackle a few small home chores. It feels really good to get these things done.

Here's what else made me smile this week:

• A doctor came to our kiddo's school and did a bunch of fun activities. The kid's looked so cute in their surgeon gear.
• My conference presentation went well.
• Thai chili sauce
• Catching up on some podcasts
• Really good beef lo mein
• Remembered to put gas in the car when I was buy the cheap Shell station
• Kiddo was in an exceedingly good mood (and extra cooperative) after school one day
• Managed to find a home for everything after the CostCo run
