Just Good Things: May 17, 2024

This post is going up later than usual because I had to fly out to the west coast. I might have been up at 4:30AM to catch my flight, but at least they day was easy. No issue with my first flight, plenty of time to catch my connection in Dallas, and only a small delay with the second leg of my journey. These days, that's the best you can hope for.

Here's what else was good this week:

• Finding a way to make my D&D character less squishy
• Ordering a delicious sushi dinner for Mother's Day
• Kiddo tucking under the canopy of her stroller to hide from the rain
• A day of gorgeous weather after days and days of rain
• An excellent closing keynote at the CALM conference
• Buying screw top wine to enjoy in my hotel room
• Kiddo reminding her friends not to run in the hall at school
• Watching Top Gun: Maverick on the plane
• Controlling the hotel TV with my phone
