Just Good Things: July 7, 2023

I took a shower this morning and let my hair air dry afterwards. It was light and bouncy and looking good. Then it got too hot and I had to put it up in a ponytail. Oh well, at least I had a good hair day for a few hours.

Here's what else made me happy this week:

• Settling in to a really good reading groove
• The AC unit we needed to clean was not as gross as we thought it would be
• Kiddo slept in on July 4
• Going to a Nats game
• Swimming at a friend's place
• Being the perfect librarian to answer a student's question 
• Chili cheese fries
• Knocking some tasks off my mental needle list
• Receiving positive feedback after a student appointment
• Submitting a travel package for a library conference
• Being excited to work on a new project
