Just Good Things: January 12, 2024

I changed the sheets and towels in our home today. I love that first night of sleep on new sheets. It almost feels like a hotel visit. Plus, I like our mattress better than most hotel mattresses.

Here's what else made me smile this week:

• Made myself some cheese plate lunches to use up various nibbles
• Enjoying hot tea every night
• Put away our Christmas decor and our condo feels so fresh and open
• No one else doing laundry when I wanted to do laundry
• Put in my leave requests for the spring
• Pet a really soft dog
• Finally started to read items in my massive TBR list on Zotero
• Took kiddo to a fancy tea at a hotel
• Caught up on my photo management for the first time in six months
• Deleting so many things from writing pieces I was editing
