Just Good Things: December 15, 2023

I had an optometrist appointment this morning. The weather was so nice I walked there and back. (Didn't twist my ankle this year!) It was a pleasant way to start the day.

Here's what else was good in my week:

• Eating radishes I pickled myself
• Enjoying an anniversary date night
• Nabbing a spot in our lot on a rainy day
• Waking up to a dusting of snow on the ground
• Opting out of a meeting I didn't need to be in
• Kiddo's joy at having a friend over 
• Remembering to schedule a haircut
• Spirit week at the kiddo's school = Adorable kids in cute outfits
• Estimating that I will have the perfect amount of space in my bullet journal to close out the year
• Kiddo's ballet "recital"
• Finishing the rough first draft of my upcoming article
