Just Good Things: April 7, 2023

Puffs plus Lotion. They are how I am getting through this week. My nose is still red and dry, but it would be a whole lot worse without these tissues. I don't know why I ever bought anything else.

Here's what else got me through the week:

• The weather is getting warmer and I didn't need a coat several afternoons
• I was thanked for posting some information on the local list-serv
• Having the flexibility to work from home
• Taking a quick walk at lunch
• Kiddo asking very politely to take a tea cake at a building event
• Trying a new Korean bakery - so flakey, so good
• Kiddo made a HUGE stuffy at school and named it Squeaker Squeaker. (Because it was a mouse.) She was absolutely elated when she got to bring it home.
• Quick and tasty shrimp and salad dinners
• Already got my federal tax refund back
• Got to write a glowing letter extoling the greatness of a colleague
