Kid Reads: September 19, 2024

I read a lot of books with my kiddo. Kid Reads is a biweekly look at what we've enjoyed recently. 

In a Dark, Dark Room, and Other Scary Stories

While were were out of town, the kiddo went to the library with her grandparents. They came home with a stack of books. My mom was skeptical when the kiddo picked this one. She doesn't like scary things and this one is rather spooky. That said, I use a funny voice when I read it out loud which puts a silly spin on the stories. The kiddo enjoys that.
