Kiddo selected this book from a display at a bookstore a few months ago. She was joyous upon seeing it because it was a book they read at school. I understand why it makes her so happy. First, the story is a simple one of a kitten trying to catch a mouse, but it's told in a beautiful way. Each illustration is a different era of art. The kitten, subjects, and story changes with each artistic style. This is a beautiful book.
