Kid Reads: July 11, 2024

I read a lot of books with my kiddo. Kid Reads is a biweekly look at what we've enjoyed recently. 

The Mermaid

The kiddo and I went to the library last weekend and she came home with a 10+ inch pile of books. From that pile, this book has been in the heaviest rotation. It's essentially a retelling of Goldilocks and three bears, but with a mermaid and octopuses. It's really cute and the intricate illustrations are wonderful.
