Just Good Things: June 28, 2024

I have to be honest, I am struggling to find some good in this day. Every breaking news alert is a slap in the face. I am legitimately afraid of how things are trending. When did we stop caring about other people?

Here's what is getting me through this week:

• Working on a cute jigsaw puzzle
• New laundry machines in our building
• Making a decent lunch out of leftovers
• Bought an ailing Venus fly trap and trying to nurse it back to health
• Easy access to urgent care (and antibiotics)
• Whipped up a not bad tour of our library renovation in under an hour
• Kiddo gave me an unprompted "I love you."
