Just Good Things: June 27, 2025

I had my first mammogram this week. (Get your preventative care people!) While not having the results yet is going to drive me a bit batty, I'm glad the procedure itself was quick and easy. Plus, the radiology tech was wonderful in explaining everything and handling my nerves. She also gave me fair warning that a lot of first-timers get called back and that's completely normal.

Here's what else made me happy:

• Kiddo is adoring her summer camp
• Finally cleaned and organized my office
• I had the luxury of doing our weekly grocery run solo
• Finally made it to the pool and unexpectedly ran into friends
• Showering off the extreme heat every night
• Tossing together two different leftovers for a tasty lunch
• Kiddo snuggling with her grandma after a long day of fun
