Just Good Things: January 3, 2025

I'm stupidly happy that I'm managed to write "2025" every time I've had to write the year this week. It's a small thing, but it's a win nonetheless.

Here's what else made me happy:

• Only two days of work and they were both WFH days
• Starting the year by gathering with friends
• A freezer full of yummy baked goods
• Playing a silly game on my phone
• Finished the first draft of my next article
• Kiddo talking about the "proper" way to eat a scone
• Reading while cozy under the covers
• Catching up on podcasts while going through email
• Notre Dame football winning!
• Anticipating our first possible snow storm
