Just Good Things: January 17, 2025

Our kiddo's school system is closed BUT her aftercare program offered a (mostly) daylong field trip. I am so grateful that our school recognizes that we need this extra support.

Here's what else made me happy this week:

• An unexpected evening snow shower
• Being able to rely on my husband when I'm sick
• Playing a silly game on my phone
• Chatting with a friend I haven't seen in awhile
• A refreshing hot shower
• Kiddo rocking out to absolute silence while wearing her headphones
• Listening to articles from The Atlantic while working out
• Couch blankets
• Having a compost collection space in our building
• Sleeping a lot when I was ill
