Just Good Things: February 7, 2025

After many days of gray, the sun is finally out. It's a little thing but in the current environment, those glittering rays of warmth mean a lot.

Here's what else is making me smile:

• My fuzzy slippers
• Getting most of a weekend day at home to myself
• Using my new dumbbells
• Enjoying a hot cup of coffee
• Getting to teach with one of my favorite professors
• Kiddo asking if animals at the zoo liked "flashes" before taking their picture
• Knocking off some items on my work needle list
• Riding a carousel
• Listening to the recordings of stories from The Atlantic​
