Just Good Things: February 21, 2025

I am grateful the snow that could have hit DC this week was a bust. I could not deal with figuring out another snow day/childcare situation.

Here's what else made me happy:

• Had a great discussion with my mentee
• The sunlight catching my ring and putting little "tinkerbells" all over the wall while I worked
• Onyx Storm
• A day with no meetings thanks to some cancellations
• Had a relaxing weekend with friends...
• ... where we finished three jigsaw puzzles...
• ... and sat in a hot tub
• 270 was NOT a parking lot on the drive home
• A quiet morning on the reference desk let me catch up on my work email
• The kiddo's utter delight when we said she could finish off a tin of chocolates
• My cozy couch blanket
