Just Good Things: February 14, 2025

Happy Valentine's Day! We treat this more like a throwaway holiday instead of a big event, but I love that there is a day dedicated to celebrating love. 

So here are some things I loved this week!

• The grandparents arriving to take care of the kiddo for the weekend so the hubby and I can have a weekend away with friends
• The snow DC got was the pretty kind that glazed the trees
• Kiddo (mostly) entertaining herself on the snow day...
• ... and said, "I didn't finish my Ariel book yet. Please go away."
• Being able to give away an old console table to someone in our building
• Making my traditional chili for the Superbowl
• The quiet in the library after everyone left when we closed early
• Kiddo tackled her classroom Valentine's Day cards all on her own - and she gave everyone their own custom doodle
• Sheet pan meals
• My doctor's appointment started on time!
