Just Good Things: December 20, 2024

I'm finally sitting down after spending the entire morning doing Christmas hosting prep. It feels good to get things out of the way early. Our kiddo will be home from school an hour early today. Now, I can enjoy a movie with her or try to talk her in to visiting the library for a bit. 

Here's what else made me happy:

• Starbucks peppermint mocha coffee (that we've been able to brew at home)
• Taking days off and being productive
• Hosting our annual holiday party and seeing friends we don't get to spend much time with
• Enjoying a family thing and having my bestie there too
• Having a boss who gets it
• Opening a new bar of fancy soap
• Kiddo loving the matching PJs for her doll
• Baking and listening to long podcast episodes
• Being able to walk to so many places
• Seeing our holiday card wall fill up
