Just Good Things: August 8, 2025

I love, when I work from home, that I don't have to rush to get ready. I can sip my hot coffee and scroll my work email all while wearing a fluffy robe. It's a nice way to start the day.

Here's what else made me happy this week:

• Talking about dresses with pockets with a student
• There was a drumline at the orientation event I worked
• Ran into our neighbor at the perfect time - she helped us haul stuff home AND she got to take back extra cupcakes
• Much cooler weather
• Cleared off my desk AND my work inbox before vacation
• Listening to podcasts while zoning out on the metro
• Kiddo getting a piggyback ride from her friend
• The party place nailed kiddo's chosen theme
• DIY cheese plates for lunch all week
