Just Good Things: August 22, 2025

This afternoon, our kiddo gets to visit her school to meet her new teacher. I think she'll say hello for all of 30 seconds before running around to play with her friends. Oh, and the school will have a local cookie and ice cream food truck waiting out front. 

Here's what else was good in my week:

• Starting a rewatch of Outlander
• My flight home was on time which preserved all my plans
• Cracking open a frosty beverage after a full day of cleaning and laundry
• Reading in the bath
• Won a door prize at work
• A video game together as I wanted it to
• Spotting a monarch butterfly out my window
• Nibbling leftover charcuterie all week
