Just Good Things: August 2, 2024

My brother is in Paris for the Olympics. While my level of jealousy is high, I'm glad he's both posting to Instagram and sharing updates on our family text. It's a nice addition to all of the sports we're already watching.

Here's what else was good this week:

• Gave myself a slow day at work to catch up on little things
• Talking to the girls about a possible long weekend getaway
• Found my credit card after I thought I left it in a gas pump
• Beat the rain home (most days)
• Kiddo and a friend using pool towels to look like Elsa
• Made a simple but very tasty dinner
• The husband came back from a work trip in time for daycare pick up
• Our D&D quest was Olympics themed (and the timing was entirely an accident)
• Signed our kiddo up for some day long art camps when school is closed in the fall
